ანოტაცია: Quarkonium production mechanism still remains unclear after several decades of intense theoretical and experimental efforts. Numerous measurements at the LHC yield new important results and call for new observables to be quantified within the proposed theory models. Selected results on quarkonium production at the LHC, and in particular with the LHCb experiment, will be presented. Their consistency with the NRQCD based models and a relevant phenomenological approach will also be discussed.
